4U Soccer Starts

All 4U Players (born in 2021) can participate in our Soccer Starts Program. This unique program teaches the fundamentals of soccer to our youngest players starting with the very basics. This program will help the players be prepared when advancing to next level of soccer. Players will have 8 training sessions  at the Cleburne Sports Complex. These sessions will consist of many drills and fun games for the kids. Recreational soccer is that soccer program that is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a life long love of the game. Recreational players are player who are randomly assigned to a team without regard to his/her abilities and skills. Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world, so many communities like ours have soccer teams that need coaches. The majority of youth teams rely on volunteers for their coaches.  To volunteer to become a soccer coach for Cleburne Soccer Association, you will have to follow these steps BEFORE we establish the teams for the season. Academy Player Forms

Soccer Academy play is in addition to recreational play. Players may join any Soccer Academy of their choosing within their age group, and are not required to obtain a release from their NTSSA recreational team to participate on an Academy team. Players must present a form of proof of registration signed by their home association registrar each time they participate with an Academy. Players may join as many Soccer Academies as they like. Competitive Players / Teams

The Cleburne Soccer Association accepts local competitive teams that wish to play select soccer and use CSA as their "Home Association" while playing in another league such as Arlington Premier Invitational League, Lake Highlands Girls Classic League, Plano Premier Invitational League, or the Chamber Classic Soccer Alliance. If you are considering making the move from recreational soccer to competitive (select) soccer, then you may want to consider local area clubs first.
